North Texas Municipal Water District – Tawakoni Water Treatment Plant

Tawakoni WTP is a new 30 MGD Water Treatment Plant. RLC has provided all the instrumentation and SCADA for this project.  Allen Bradley and ControlLogix were used.  GE Multilin monitoring accomplished thru RS485 Modbus Protocol has been implemented at the IPS pump station.

 

North Texas Municipal Water District – Diversion Pump Station

 

This project has four large raw water pumps transferring water to North Texas Municipal Water District.  Environmentally sensitive wetlands are controlled via locks (solar powered) and radio telemetry.  The control system is a Quantum PLC with a 12” local touch screen. GE Multilin monitoring accomplished thru RS485 Modbus Protocol. The wetlands utilize Phoenix Contact I/O radios with the Phoenix Contact Solar Generation System.
